After you have received your order…
CRUST wants you to be 100% pleased with your purchase. If you are dissatisfied for any reason, email us at [email protected] within 30 days of receipt of your order, and we will refund or replace the order. If it appears your package was damaged during transit, please keep all packaging and contact us within two days of receipt. You can expect a response to your email within 24 hours.
When can I expect my package to arrive?
We make your baked goods only upon receipt of your order, so all orders require two full days lead time prior to shipping. During checkout, you will be able to specify a preferred ship date for your package. You can specify an ship date up to one year in advance.
We ship perishable items on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday via UPS 2nd Day service, unless the date is a UPS Shipping Holiday. Once shipped, perishable orders reach their destinations within 2 business days. For gift cards, apparel, class tickets and other non-perishable items, we use the U.S. Postal Service’s First Class or Standard Post; this method is the most economical for you. Orders shipped this way will arrive in 2-8 business days.
Because we don’t want your package sitting in a warehouse or truck over a weekend, we ship baked goods on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, except in the event of a national holiday.
Where do you ship?
At this time, we ship anywhere within the continental United States. If you would like to ship your gifts to Alaska, Hawaii or Canada, please contact us by way of e-mail, [email protected]
Who does your shipping?
We use UPS 2nd Day service for packages containing perishable baked goods. Based on our experience, they provide the most reliable two-day delivery service. Please note we will not ship perishables to P.O. Boxes. We ship perishable items on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, unless the date is a UPS Shipping Holiday.
Do you run Flat Rate Shipping specials?
From time to time, cruststore.com will offer Flat Rate Shipping specials. If a Shipping Special is available, that shipping option will appear during Checkout. The charge is per delivery address. The items in your order may affect the Flat Rate Shipping option available to you. Flat Rate Shipping specials apply to shipments within the continental U.S. only.
A few words about shipping of our pies…
We make every effort to ensure your order reaches its destination fresh and in good condition. Due to their fragile nature, our pies require special handling and packing materials. Each pie will ship in its own carton, and all packing and shipping fees are included in the price of each pie. If your order also includes other product categories (cookies, rolls, breads, etc.), those items will ship in a separate carton, and applicable shipping fees will be added to your cart during Checkout.
Will UPS deliver my gift package if no one is home?
In order to avoid the hassle of the recipient having to be home when your CRUST order arrives at its destination, UPS will not require a signature.
Are there black-out dates for delivery of my package?
UPS and the U.S. Postal Service can’t deliver our packages on Sundays or holidays. If you have a question about a delivery date, send us an email, [email protected]
How do I place an order to multiple addresses?
Unfortunately we are unable to ship to more than one address per order. If you wish to ship to multiple addresses, you must place separate orders.
How do I care for my baked goods once they’ve arrived?
Our baked treats are prepared from scratch in small batches and shipped fresh Monday through Wednesday. They do not contain any preservatives. For information about care of your baked goods, please refer to the product Care Card enclosed with your order or visit the product pages on cruststore.com.
What if I have food allergies?
All baked goods from CRUST are prepared in a facility that handles nuts, wheat and dairy products. If you have specific questions about ingredients in our products, please email us at [email protected]
Payment and Sales Tax
How do I pay for my purchases?
At Check Out, you can pay by credit card; we currently accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express. Our online store cannot accept CRUST gift cards as a form of payment.
Is State Sales Tax applied to my purchase?
Currently, we collect applicable sales tax only on purchases made by residents of the state of Michigan. Purchases made by residents of other states are subject to the applicable use tax of those states.
How do you protect the privacy of my information?
CRUST respects each individual’s right to personal privacy. We will collect and use information through our website only in the ways disclosed in this statement.
We collect information at several points through the online purchase process. At checkout, we collect: name, company name, address, phone number, e-mail and payment information. We may also collect name, company name, address, phone number and e-mail which our users divulge about other people, such as referrals or gift purchases. This information is used for shipping items, sales and promotions. Users who provide such information will receive sales and promotion information. Registered account users will receive additional announcements from us about products, services, special deals, and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications.
